Senior Software Engineer
Build the distributed systems backbone of our agentic IT platform from the ground up
The Opportunity
We're reimagining how IT departments operate. Instead of overwhelmed helpdesk teams drowning in tickets and frustrated employees waiting hours for simple fixes, we're building an agentic IT platform that handles the heavy lifting automatically while dramatically improving the employee experience.
This is ground-zero for a category-defining company. You'll be one of our first engineering hires, working directly with industry veterans who were early pioneers in microservices and machine learning. What You'll Build
You'll design and build the distributed systems backbone of our agentic platform from the ground up:
- Resilient Architecture - Architecting resilient, reliable, and scalable systems that can handle thousands of concurrent IT requests across enterprise environments
- AI Agent Infrastructure - Building the infrastructure that powers our AI agents as they autonomously resolve helpdesk tickets, provision resources, and manage complex IT workflows
- Enterprise Integration - Designing systems that seamlessly integrate with existing enterprise platforms and IT toolchains while maintaining security and compliance standards
- Orchestration Layer - Creating the orchestration layer that coordinates multiple agents working together on complex, multi-step IT operations
This isn't just another CRUD app or incremental feature work. You're building the nervous system of an intelligent IT organization.
What We're Looking For
You've built large-scale distributed systems that real users depend on. You understand the trade-offs between consistency and availability, you've debugged production incidents at 3 AM, and you know what it takes to design systems that don't just work in theory but thrive under real-world chaos.
Required
- Proven experience building and operating distributed systems at scale in production environments
- Track record of building systems from scratch and owning technical decisions
- Experience integrating with third-party APIs and enterprise software
- Deep understanding of system design principles, fault tolerance, and performance optimization
Valuable but not required
- Modern web framework experience (Python, JS/TypeScript)
- Experience building and running production ML pipelines
- Familiarity with agentic frameworks, workflow orchestration, and automation platforms
- Background in enterprise software, IT operations, or developer tools
